A Balanced Approach to Learning

The Aesthetics Institute recognizes that each student learns differently. Because of
this, the Institute invests heavily in providing materials that are directed at the four
different ways people learn: Visual, Auditory, Practical and Social. This is our four-
fold learning system.
Visual:
Seeing pictures, graphics, reading, receiving handouts, and
viewing videos.
Auditory:
Hearing lectures or discussions, listening to presentations.
Practical:
Hands on application, working in groups, having physical
contact.
Social:
Interaction with others in groups and with clients.
These styles are demonstrated in our four-fold system through one or more of the
following learning tools:
